How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient destroys harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses that colonize the skin or the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat. The substance accumulates in the cell wall of the pathogens and, among other things, eats holes in the outer protective shell of the germs. This causes substances that are essential for survival to leak out of the cell.
